CUT & PASTE

Here are some long overdue images from CUT & PASTE at Union Gallery. Hopefully I'll get some better quality images posted soon.

One of these paintings is where I got the name of my blog - try to guess which one!

She Did, acrylic and oil on canvas, 3.5' x 5', 2009

Simulations 1 - 16, ink and graphite on tracing paper, 9" x 12" each, 2009

Untitled, acrylic and oil on panel, three panels 6' x 4' each, 2009

JOURNAL ARTICLE

Thanks to Ally Hall for writing a really nice article about Cut & Paste in the Queen's Journal. We even got to do an artist profile, which shows a picture of us looking like we're doing something crazy with our hands. Woohoo!

This is (a not-so-great picture of) 1 of 28 drawings I'm putting in the Union show.

Oh, hey, there will also be free food at our reception on Saturday Nov 14 @ 7:00pm. So come and eat it!

Especially if you like Viva Puffs. Donald's planning on buying a lot of them.

Donald eats poutine about three times a week. He also made this really great painting:

Alright, back to work!

SOON.

Here's the invite for me and D. K. H. Chan's show!

The lovely Kate at Union Gallery did the back.

We start installing on Wednesday (aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!).

NICE TO MEET YOU.

I'm getting ready for a show I'm doing with Donald Chan at Union Gallery from Nov. 10 - 28.

In the mean time, here's some old things: polaroids I altered with ink, graphite, and marker. You can see some of these in the '09 issue of Lighthouse Wire.

Thanks for looking!
